Jerry has helped found Christian giving organizations and serves on the boards of directors of organizations.   He brings a unique point of view to the Board because wherever he goes, whoever he’s talking to - client, friend or the person in the seat next to him on an airplane, the message is always the same:  Everything belongs to God.  We are only stewards of the wealth he gives us.  This is an interesting philosophy for a financial manager, but along with managing client portfolios, he encourages people to set up donor advised funds to facilitate the giving away of money.  He quotes from The Treasure Principle by Randy Alcorn: "Once we understand we are giving away God’s money to do His work, we discover a peace and joy we never had when we thought it was our money."

OUR VISION

To save life afflicted by sin, disease, poverty and civil strife and to facilitate the prosperity and productivity of saved lives.

OUR MISSION

To propagate socially healthy and productive life relationships through Children Care Homes, Schooling, Life-skills training, Fellowship groups, Counseling and Reconciliation programs; to provide life sustenance through Nutritional and Medical facilitation; and to present the life saving and transforming power of the Gospel.

OUR MISSION OBJECTIVES WHICH ARE INHERENT IN THE MISSION STATEMENT ARE IMPLEMENTED THROUGH STRATEGIC FACETS OF:
  • DISCIPLESHIP
  • DEVELOPMENT MINISTRIES
  • EVANGELISM

DISCIPLESHIP

Discipleship is the process we undertake for strengthening of the faith of all those who believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Savior, so that they become grounded in the Word of God through Bible Study. We herein also pursue the nurturing of believers into God's family through prayer and praise meetings and establishing of communities or fellowships of witnesses whose members participate in the worship activities of the church, taking root and growing towards maturity into Christ-likeness. We strive for productive union with Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit by bringing other people to faith in Christ through the demonstration of God's love in works and words as a way of life overflowing with thanksgiving to God the Father for his praise and glory.

  • ATTENDING FELLOWSHIPS
  • TEACHING GOD’S WORD
  • HOME CELL GROUPS
  • SPIRITUAL NURTURING

DEVELOPMENT

Development gives the Works that alleviate the degradation and the deterioration of life for those who are poor, refugees and affected or orphaned by conflict and disease. This is accomplished through empathetic provision of practical material and relational support for both the primary and secondary sufferers from life’s afflictions. The most obvious affliction is HIV/AIDS which has removed a crucial "investment and social security" supporting link for grandparents and their grandchildren in the extended family network structure of Uganda as elsewhere in Africa. Our challenging call is to stand in the gap and serve as the supportive link as we practice Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless (James 1:27).

DEVELOPMENT'S OTHERS
  • ORPHAN CHILDREN CARE
  • TRAINING IN LIFESKILLS
  • HEALTHCARE PROVISION
  • EDUCATION FACILITATION
  • RESOURCE HARNESSING
  • SUPPORT TEAMS

It is not that we are unaware of specializing and doing only one or two things so as to be effective. It is that the situation on the ground requires a holistic approach and we can't pursue the ministry approach of one thing mutually excluding the other. They are interrelated just as life is interconnected in diverse ways. We believe that with God's help and the pulling of resources, talents and skills in areas that individual feel moved and led to participate actively, all things can be done as we work together as a team in saving lives.

EVANGELISM:

Through Evangelism, we proclaim the transforming and reassuring Words of love, hope, and affirmation of life held out in the Gospel of Christ to people who are enveloped by fear, discrimination, debilitation and despondency. This primes people spiritually and generates the inner strength for dealing with the physical bodily vagaries of Conflict, Diseases like HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Sin that afflict individuals, families and communities.
